Typically, the filter is discreetly buried at the pond's edge, minimizing the visual impact of pond technology. All connections and technical components are conveniently housed in the top cover, making installation easy. This design allows for the pond water to be pumped to higher waterfalls and then returned to the garden pond, ensuring a stable biological balance and improved water quality.

Integrated UV units in the pressure pond filter provide a combination of biological and mechanical filtration, enhancing effectiveness with a UV-C pond clarifier. The UV radiation from the clarifier alters algae proteins' structure, ultimately destroying them and causing them to clump together for easy removal by the mechanical filtration system. Over time, beneficial microorganisms accumulate within the filter, effectively removing germs and bacteria from the water, while floating particles and debris are trapped and prevented from re-entering the pond.

It's crucial to allow approximately 4-6 weeks for the filter bacteria to establish themselves before introducing a UVC-pond clarifier. Starter bacteria can help jumpstart this process, reducing the time needed for the filter to reach peak efficiency.
